What You Will Do 
  • Support the classroom teacher in delivering engaging, play-based learning experiences
  • Supervise children to ensure a safe, nurturing, and inclusive environment
  • Assist with daily routines including meals, rest time, toileting, and transitions
  • Maintain high standards of health, safety, and hygiene at all times
  • Observe, document, and share children’s learning and developmental progress
  • Provide warm, responsive care that supports children’s emotional well-being
  • Assist with classroom organization, materials, and learning environment setup
  • Support basic administrative tasks and daily documentation
What We’re Looking For (Qualifications & Experience)
  • Energetic, motivated, and dynamic ECA / Assistant Teacher with a passion for early learning
  • Minimum 2 years’ experience working with young children in a childcare or early learning setting
  • Ontario-recognized Early Childhood Assistant (ECA) certification or equivalent
  • Valid Vulnerable Sector Check (clear and current)
  • Valid Criminal Background Check (clear and current)
  • Standard First Aid & CPR (Level C) certification
  • Strong understanding of child safety, supervision, and positive guidance strategies
  • Reliable, professional, and able to work collaboratively in a team environment
